CarbOFF
A changing view on climate change
The Project
CarbOFF is a magazine facing one of the hottest topics nowadays: climate change. Explore diffent perspective in the articles while adapting your point of view using our different themes: they will allow you to travel in time, from the Middle Ages to the fragile yet-to-come future. Not only, but you get to explore all the countries and all the places named in our issues through our Map. This project is realised for the exam of Web Technology and Information Modeling of the master course in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge at Alma Mater Studiorum- Università di Bologna.
The Themes
Here you can find an overview of the historical themes. Select one of the styles below to change the homepage design, or click on the links under each theme icon to discover more about them in our documentation.
16th century
Inspired by one of the most historically significant and revolutionary texts of its time, the Geneva Bible.

Pulp Magazine
Pulp magazines were inexpensive fiction magazines that were published from 1896 through the 1960s. This style is inspired by some of the top venues published during the 30s, the golden age of the pulps.

Nineties
Inspired by the deconstructive approach of the "grandfather of grunge", David Carson and his magazine "Ray Gun".

Future
This theme gets its inspiration from the uprising technologies of the transparent glasses. The question here is: how can we focus on something, if we are always distracted by the background?
